Geolocation based Public Information System

Qbila is a geolocation based public information platform that connects government organizations with people living in the region they are serving. It solves the problem of huge communication gaps between government organizations and citizens due to the high cost of available communication mediums, thus enabling consistent, complete and effective sharing of policy execution information between government organizations and citizens.

Ashish is a software developer with extensive experience in front-end web development. He worked with some of well-known Indian online products like MakeMyTrip.com and Lybrate.com. He received his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. Currently he is working on his project of 'Geolocation based public information system' at IIM Ahmedabad’s Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship, Pune. The project made it into the top 20 finalists of the Innovate for Digital India Challenge by Intel, IIM Ahmedabad and Government of India. When he is not staring at his computer's screen, he loves to travel to places of natural beauty. His love for nature comes from his childhood spent in some of the most beautiful himalayan cities of Northern India.
